Siberian Squill 西伯利亞綿棗兒

Species：Siberian Squill (Scilla siberica)

Despite the name the Siberian Squill originates in the Caucasus, Iran, Turkey and South Russia. Like many spring flowers the squill is dispersed by ants. Ants are animated by a nutritious adjunct of the seeds to take the seeds away.

雖然叫做西伯利亞綿棗兒，但實際上它的原產地在高加索、伊朗、土耳其及南俄羅斯。就像許多春天開放的花朵，棉棗兒是仰賴螞蟻傳播的。螞蟻會因為種子身上富有營養的包裹物而願意把種子搬走。
