The Elux Lucis are a nocturnal breed of dragon found in the far north and at the peaks of particularly tall mountain ranges. During the day, their deep indigo scales easily conceal them among the trees, but at night, their remarkable iridescence is revealed; even the faintest starlight reflects off of their bodies in a dazzling display of colors. In flight, they almost resemble living auroras soaring across the night sky. During the winter, flocks of Elux Lucis fly south to hatch and raise their young. This annual migration is well known for filling the night sky with a display of reflected moonlight and starlight so vibrant it seems as though the northern lights themselves have wandered south.

天神光耀龍是夜行性龍種，出沒在極北處及極為高聳的山峰上。白晝，牠們的深靛色鱗片讓牠們得以輕易隱身在樹林中；但當夜幕降臨，標誌性的虹光就會顯露出來，縱使是最微弱的星光在牠們身體的反射下都會變成最耀眼的色光。牠們飛行的姿態就像是呼嘯夜空而過的活極光。到了冬天，成群的天神光耀龍會飛往南方，在那下蛋育子。這場年度遷徙將使夜空滿布反射月光、星光而來的璀璨彩光，像是北極光自己就飄到了南方。
